McGILL CONFERENCES
The McGill University Dementia Education Program was created in 2017 to support people living with dementia and their care partners. The multidisciplinary team, led by former caregiver and program founder Claire Webster, geriatrician Dr. José A. Morais and neurologist Dr. Serge Gauthier, has created a wealth of educational tools and innovative platforms to support family and informal care partners of people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia-related illnesses. These resources aim to serve a multicultural population across Quebec and Canada, and are also being used to support allied healthcare professionals, medical students and community organizations. www.mcgill.ca/dementia.
